Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Fianchetto ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account. See current pricing.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

Prices, included quotas (such as monthly AI Coach messages), and plan features may change. We will notify you in advance of any changes affecting your active plan.

You agree not to:

• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without written permission.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.
• Upload content that is illegal, abusive, or that infringes on the rights of others, or misuse the AI Coach to generate such content.

Fianchetto, its logo, exercises, courses, and software are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own chess training — not to redistribute, resell, or create derivative products.

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Chess training and AI Coach analyses are educational — we do not guarantee rating gains or specific results. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from your profile; deletion removes your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
